Dr. Jenkins is excited and humbled to be slated! As a transformational leader, she has a rich history of motivating others to not only achieve objectives, but to also bring about meaningful and impactful change. By fostering collaboration and creating a sense of purpose, Soror Jenkins rallies teams toward remarkable accomplishments.
As a psychologist, Dr. Jenkins bring a unique skill set to leadership. She is known to be a consistent person who does everything with integrity, a characteristic that is required for a corporate secretary. Dr. Jenkins displays keen listening skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and shows respect for every Soror. These characteristics are crucial for fostering a positive and productive sisterly environment.
With over three decades of experience as a business owner, Dr. Jenkins is responsible for overseeing the following administrative functions: developing and employing strategies to safeguard assets; designing and implementing innovative and effective databases; collaborating and consulting with others; and delivering high-quality results.
Finally, her Delta advocacy training and experience helped in her role as presidents of psychological associations to successfully lobby for advancing mental health legislative issues that impact citizens of the state of Texas. Over the years, Dr. Jenkins has been honored for championing behavioral health and substance abuse legislative reform to improve the lives of underserved populations. It is her passion for helping others and ensuring that individuals get the resources they need to thrive that drives her need to be an advocate for the least of us. Being a double change agent --- a Delta and Psychologist --- equips Dr. J to be “A Slam Dunk Choice!”
